I cant remember the exact adrress off hand.The one problem you may run into, if you are working on early transistor stuff, many of the old numbers have been deleted from the cross ref guide to make room for newer #'s so if you are working on a lot of older stuff it may be helpfull to get a few older manuals.Sam's published a few manuals in the 60's I have a few, I'd have to dig for them for titles if you like.Also many of the early 70's sylvania tube manuals had Sylvania ECG cross ref's in the back - same thing with rca.ECG and NTE part numbers are the same.Even if you find ECG part #'s in the old 70's books they are very likely still available.2SA1617 Datasheets Context Search Catalog Datasheet SK also publises a cross ref book that is free and very helpful.Nte also has a website with an online cross ref. this has always worked out well unless the circuit it's used in is very critical. I sort all of my surplus transistors and label them with NTE numbers for quick replacements. The specs for the new replacement will generally not be identical to the original, but they will be very close. The nice thing about the book version, is you can find your specific replacement and look up the specs in the book for it. NTE even has free cross ref software thats usefull if you're in a hurry. ![]() NTE cross books are usally available for free at places that sell NTE. Norm is correct except for the fact that EGG is no longer in buisiness, they have been absorbed by NTE. ![]()
